Opinions on the name Bailey?

We are liking the name Bailey. We quite like the Bayleigh spelling, but know it's youneeque and don't want to lumber our child with that.

Bailey seems so pretty though, I know lots of boys have the name and I know it's meanings aren't great, but it just sounds pretty. Reminds me of nature and flowers Grin bay tree? Do they exist? Just makes me think of that!

Opinions?

My friend is a primary school teacher and has always said "You know what you're getting when you see a Bailey on the list". I didn't press her on what she meant, but it obviously wasn't good! Apologies, but I really don't like it either.

I'm not keen on it for a boy or girl.

It's ok, but for the love of god use Bailey and not Bayleigh.

Very chavvy I'm afraid.

Not a good name.

It's my grandfather's name. I had no idea it was either fashionable or regarded as chavvy now! Hmm
