Bryson?

[waitrose1985]

Hi there, we love Bryson at the moment. Any thoughts on this name please? We like Bryson Cole! Thank you so much!

Like Bill Bryson?

I've never heard it used as a first name

Makes me think Bison and Brian. What about Bryn

Or Byron?

Bryson Cole sounds very American.

It's not my sort of name at all, but if you like it that's all that matters.

I don't like it at all, not even Byron.
Cole, Bryson - Bryson feels more surname - like to me. I know Americans think it's nice to use surnames as first names.

I personally would just go with Cole. It's better.

Very American

I like Bryson. It sounds like a strong confident name.

Makes me think of a Hoover.

^^ yes - Dyson!

Not keen I'm afraid. It's too 'surname-like' for my tastes. And it kind of sounds like 'Bison' too.

Byron is nicer but it's the name of a burger chain.

I've only heard of it as a surname.

How about Bryce? I've met a couple of these

Bryson Cole sounds like the name of a company. Very surnamey.
