Tilly, Luna or Alice?

I have four children and am expecting my fifth! I am currently very pregnant and need help choosing between three names, Tilly, Luna and Alice.
We don't know the gender of baby but would love some help in choosing a name. Will give background on older siblings names.

Nancy Violet- Nancy is classy, sassy, full of grace and honors my Grandma Ann. Violet is pretty and delicate and grounds Nancy.
Archie Peyton- Archie is retro and means 'truly brave' which shows what a man should be. Peyton is for Peyton Manning as my husband is half-American and follows American football and adores Peyton Manning as does his Dad (who cried upon hearing his name was Archie Peyton).
Clara Josephine- Clara is sassy and full of spunk whilst feeling suitably adult. Josephine is for my dad, Joseph who calls her his little Clara-Jo. I liked the amount of dignified grace it brings to my rough'n'tumble Clara.
Fox Aiden- Fox is simple and sleek but brings a hint of the wild to my boy. I saw foxes EVERYWHERE in that pregnancy and when we couldn't bring ourselves to name him Freddie Jacob, my husband suggested Fox in a last-minute suggestion. Aiden is my husband's name.

So, help us choose a first name, please! I need help.

Me too Huha. Blush.
Glad it's not just me going.crazyGrin

Not Lilly. Not Tuna. So Alice.
But Alice what?
And what's the boys' list?

LoraLoves · 18/08/2016 23:02

Haha huha! Well the middle name for a girl would be Winifred, Louisa or Alice. A boy would be Milo, Seth or Kerr. I quite like Lachlan but it may be a bit out of place.
Sorry about the descriptions. I didn't think they were twee but funny.

I like Luna but hate that it's becoming popular now Confused
Alice goes with your other names really well though I think.

Sophronia · 19/08/2016 06:32

Alice Winifred

katemess12 · 19/08/2016 06:37

I like the Luna the most.

Also, objectively like Alice, but every Alice I've known has been just like the Alice from the Vicar of Dibley.

Haaate Tilly.

PikachuSayBoo · 19/08/2016 06:46

I have a cat called Tilly and a dog called Luna.

I like both those names. However for a human baby I would choose Alice.

Gracey79 · 19/08/2016 06:52

I love Alice and like Luna not keen on Tilly as sounds like a nn

Daytona79 · 19/08/2016 07:13

Tilly is my friends dog abc Luna is my friends horses name so for me I'd pick Alice

Raines100 · 19/08/2016 09:22

Loony Luna and Silly Tilly for me, I'm afraid, unless Tilly can be switched up for Matilda when she's a grown woman.
Alice is beautiful.

thebakerwithboobs · 19/08/2016 09:28

Tilly is a girl's name but not really one I wood associate with a grown woman so maybe should be short for something? Matilda? I know a Tilly short for Yentil. Luna just reminds me of the spaced out girl from Harry Potter and Alice is a bit meh. Also suggest you don't use the word spunk to describe your children to the British audience...BlushGrin

Doinmummy · 19/08/2016 09:28

I'm not keen on any of them - I see a Jemima fitting in with the other names .

Fuckingmoles · 19/08/2016 09:32

I like Alice.
Tilly is ok but I prefer Matilda
Luna just makes me think of Harry Potter and also lunatic

Just5minswithDacre · 19/08/2016 09:50

Are you for real? All that classy, sassy winsomeness about hints of the wild and spunk makes you sound like a ten year old picking names for her dolls, to be honest.

I think it's one of those 'lost in translation' cultural things.

It made me roar though. I vote Lora is given editorship of the whole baby name board Smile

Just saying, the word 'spunk' was very much used in this country a couple of generations ago. My mother, who was very British MC certainly used it. It was very 'jolly hockey sticks' kind of speak.

Alice Winifred
Louisa Alice

Crunchymum · 19/08/2016 10:40

Urm you have shared a lot of personal details OP?

Do you not care about your privacy?

DerelictMyBalls · 19/08/2016 10:40
