Angus or Hamish?

Which boys name do you prefer, Hamish or Angus?

"Silent G" haha that is brilliant. I'd never have been witty enough to come up with that.

Anyway I prefer Hamish by a long shot. Angus I associate with beef.

If I ever have another DS he will be Hamish so that one for me! (Yes we are in Scotland).

My DS has a name very similar to Angus and I think they would make a nice pair.

Yes, for Scottish names Ruariadh is a favourite of mine too, as is Keir

Hamish I think but both are good.

My neighbour is called Alistair but my dh has a mental block on his name and always calls him Angus (I don't think to his face yet but one day..) so call him Alistair instead!

Thanks everyone! Hamish is slightly edging it, but both seem very well liked. Yay. We don't live in Scotland but one of us is Scottish. We can't use Alistair as it's my brother's name.
