I really like this name but im not sure if it sounds too much like a mouthful when shouting it?

Not at all. Lovely name. Elegant and feminine. Plenty of shortenings too. Go for it.

NannyR · 04/07/2016 22:54

I love this name and think it flows really nicely, not a mouthful at all. I like rosalind too.

ErrolTheDragon · 04/07/2016 22:54

It's a lovely name and you could use Rosie as a 'calling name' if need be.

SaveSomeSpendSome · 04/07/2016 23:01

I really like it and i like all the shortenings you could use like Rose, Rosie, Anna etc

How would you pronounce it as there seems to be two ways to pronounce it. Ro-Sanna or Rose-anna?

I can't really hear a difference. Confused

Liz09 · 04/07/2016 23:11

I quite like it, actually. Smile I like all of the nicknames (particularly Rosie!)

Rose-Anna is how I would pronounce it.

chocoLit · 04/07/2016 23:12

I prefer Rosalyn but both lovely Smile

I know an adult Rosanna. I think it's beautiful. She gets called Rosie a lot. Go for it!

EElisavetaOfBelsornia · 05/07/2016 06:15

Lovely name.

SanityClause · 05/07/2016 06:18

It's lovely.

CPtart · 05/07/2016 07:03

Like it, but a bit frilly. Prefer Roseanne.

dazzlingdeborahrose · 05/07/2016 07:07

Roseanna was my nana's name. She died last week :-(. She was shortened to Rose or Rosie oftentimes. It's a beautiful and elegant name.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 05/07/2016 07:09

I know a Rosemara if you're looking at other options!

Rather than Ro-Sanna, I would wonder whether it's Rose-Anna or Roz-Anna.

Gooseysgirl · 05/07/2016 07:13

Lovely name Smile

WillH · 05/07/2016 17:59

I prefer the 'Roseanna' spelling, but it's a lovely name!

Sophronia · 05/07/2016 18:11

Rosanna is lovely

crje · 05/07/2016 18:19

I would pronounce that spelling Rozanna. I think it needs the e to make it softer.

It's a lovely name.

DramaAlpaca · 05/07/2016 21:10

Rosanna is a gorgeous name.

MeLittleDuckie · 05/07/2016 21:19

I like it. I also love Rosa.

MrsGsnow18 · 05/07/2016 23:16

I like the sound of Rosanna, like both spellings but love Rosa as a NN so prefer OPs spelling.

apatheticfallacy · 05/07/2016 23:21

I love it, I also know an adult Rosanna (Ro-sanna) who is just so kind and quietly funny!

brackengirl · 06/07/2016 13:43

My Rosanna is 5 and I love her name, definitely isn't too much of a mouthful. We pronounce it Ro-sanna but the syllables have equal weight and run together. She is also frequently called Rosie which she likes. Her middle name is Eve- I think they flow well together.

We have met one other little Rosanna who had the nickname Ro-ro, apart from that I've only come across it in books so still very uncommon even though it is made up of two very common elements.

SaveSomeSpendSome · 06/07/2016 14:44

I was thinking of Rosanna Holly and then our surname.

I do love the name Eve. I think its great as a first name too
