Hey,

So we're 2 weeks away from our due date and beginning to (mildly) panic over names.

'Yay' or 'Nay' on the current front-runner if it's a boy...

Rupert Cosmo

?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
PointlessUsername · 16/06/2016 12:46

Leave the cosmo.

Not overly keen on Rupert, not my sort of name but much nicer than cosmo.

Pipilangstrumpf · 16/06/2016 12:50

Great name!

Pipilangstrumpf · 16/06/2016 12:53

You rarely use your middle name so choose your favourite first name that goes well with your surname.

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 16/06/2016 12:53

Either but not both

Vixxfacee · 16/06/2016 12:54

No. Really bad.

BishopBrennansArse · 16/06/2016 12:55

Very Jilly Cooper Wink

IoraRua · 16/06/2016 12:57

It is a bit Jilly Cooper alrighty.
I don't personally like it, but not the worst.

FoxesSitOnBoxes · 16/06/2016 12:57

You need to have a double-barrel surname and land/a title to pull it off but I kind of like it!

doceodocere · 16/06/2016 12:58

It screams Jilly to me too.

Not that it matters if you like the name.

Tobe · 16/06/2016 12:59

Jilly Cooper !? LOL

Oh god, now you mention it....

Jeremysfavouriteaunt · 16/06/2016 13:01

Well dh refused me Cosmo and I still love the name.

Jeremysfavouriteaunt · 16/06/2016 13:01

Not Rupert for me though, definitely one or the other if you have to, not both.

Woodenmouse · 16/06/2016 13:06

Personally I don't like Cosmo. I like Rupert though!

Scarydinosaurs · 16/06/2016 13:30

Love Rupert.

Cosmo is a little too spacey/dog name.

Jeremysfavouriteaunt · 16/06/2016 13:32

I am taking these Cosmo comments personally even though I didn't even use the name Grin

DavidPuddy · 16/06/2016 13:32

Is your surname Kramer? If yes, go ahead.

Pootles2010 · 16/06/2016 13:36

Depends how posh you are. Will they be going to private school? Is the surname double-barrelled?

Diddlydokey · 16/06/2016 13:38

If you have an unusual first name, I think that the middle names should be a normal alternative that they might prefer when they're older.

Tiggeryoubastard · 16/06/2016 13:38

Oh that's bad. Really bad. You've chosen two of the drippiest names going. All you need is to put Walter in there and you'll have the full set.

allegretto · 16/06/2016 13:40

Rupert and Cosmo really leaves nowhere to go if you're child wants something less posh

DramaAlpaca · 16/06/2016 14:05

It does sound very posh to me.

The only good thing about Rupert is that you can call him Roo, which is adorable.

CheeseAndSprinkleys · 16/06/2016 14:07

My first thoughts are Jilly Cooper too Grin

I know a Rupert Charles.
He is always Rupert. Never roo..

Not sure on cosmo.

nectarini1983 · 16/06/2016 14:13

Really don't like Rupert. Both are a bit geeky and speky imo but much prefer Cosmo given the choice.
