I'm so undecided Sad I prefer Elliot, but Isaac goes better with DS1's name. DH prefers Isaac...

So, Elliot or Isaac?

Isaac.

cecilelliott · 12/06/2016 20:21

Elliott! The fact it's part of my username shows my liking for this name!
I know two little Elliotts and they are both lovely!

Paddingtonthebear · 12/06/2016 20:23

Elliot. I know of 4 Isaac's under the age of 4, it's very popular

Playdoughcaterpillar · 12/06/2016 20:25

Isaac

LadyAntonella · 12/06/2016 20:27

Isaac by a long way Smile. It is one of my favourite boy names, has a lovely meaning and I just don't like Elliott at all (sorry).

IoraRua · 12/06/2016 20:29

Isaac.

eatsleepfeedrepeat · 12/06/2016 20:35

Isaac!

WasDat · 12/06/2016 20:45

Elliot wins my vote.

iliketeaalot · 12/06/2016 20:52

Definitely Elliot!

marmitecrumpets · 12/06/2016 21:23

Elliot

DesperatelySeeking2016 · 12/06/2016 21:38

I have an Isaac and never has there been someone who has lived the meaning of their name to such an extent. He is a true delight! I would recommend using the name on the off chance that it has a magic power and turns all children into charming, funny bundles of joy! Smile

neonrainbow · 12/06/2016 21:42

Elliott. Isaac and noah together are too biblical.

cosmicglittergirl · 12/06/2016 21:50

Isaac

MummyMaisy · 12/06/2016 23:59

I have a Noah and an Elliot! Shock

Isaac is nice too, but I obviously think that Elliot is nicer.

WalkLikeAnEgyptian · 13/06/2016 00:03

Isaac is a great name.

Worcswoman · 13/06/2016 00:05

Isaac for me but both are lovely names.
Congratulations!

DontKillMyVibe · 13/06/2016 13:23

On it's own it would be Issac for me but I think Elliot goes better with Noah unless you want to be v religious

Muddlingalongalone · 13/06/2016 13:26

I prefer Elliot unless you are particularly religious. Isaac is a nice name but combined with Noah too biblical for my tastes

Allalonenow · 13/06/2016 13:28

Isaac by a very long way!

And congratulations!! Star Thanks

MrsMoggy · 13/06/2016 13:32

Isaac. Elliot reminds me of Fred Elliot from corrie Blush

Frazzled2207 · 13/06/2016 13:35

Elliot.

regularbutpanickingabit · 13/06/2016 13:36

Definitely Isaac. Elliot is not anywhere near as nice

steppemum · 13/06/2016 13:44

I have an Isaac.

He is 13, it was very uncommon when we named him, but I hear a lot of smaller Isaac's so I think it is getting more common.

It is a great name, good on child or adult, nice meaning, classic but not boring etc.

personally I really dislike the name Elliot, but can't really say why.

Emyloohoo · 13/06/2016 16:16

What about using both? Isaac, and Elliot as a middle name.

septembersunshine · 13/06/2016 18:15

I would go for Isaac. He could then be Zach for short... or you could call him Zachary. No wait. ISAAC. Just stick with Isaac. Although I do like Zach a lot...

I don't know about Elliot. I guess because there are so many girls names starting with Elle/Ella/Ellie.. so it seems a little feminine. Isaac is strong and classical.
