Inspired by another thread.

Literally swapped the names (first and middle) for the meanings...

Dd - Pearl Nobility
DS - Crossing Lion

Me - Jewel Hope
Dh (no middle name) - Twin (even though he isnt).

DD has a Russian name which means something like part of the clan. Her middle name means lover of horses .

DS means supplanter . Middle name means strength.

Dd1 - a flower; doesn't really have a meaning
Dd2 - strength in battle; bright light; white/blessed flaxen
Ds - (another) Jehovah is God; carried; strong-willed warrior
Dd3 - leaping water; another flower

DS1: gift from God
DS2: Twin

....and I'm not religious

Actually I did daughters wrong looking again.

First name - short nose
Middle name - rebellion.

Makes sense, she has a small nose & is a stubborn little madam haha!

We realised last year that DMum had named us all with the same meaning

DSis: God is gracious, wanted child
Me: God is gracious, God is satisfaction
DBro: God is gracious, gentle, noble

I'm obviously the holy child.

Which sounds as though we have quite similar names, although we don't at all!

DS and DH's name meanings both sound like proper sentences, which is a bit odd:

DS - Happy who is like God
DH - Friend of horses he has heard

FH strong grand

DS- Crooked nose, gift of God. We knew the meaning before we named him but it didn't matter to us. His nose is far from crooked. It can also mean crooked hill.

Me- Little Champion, gift of God

DH- Gift of God, of the sea

We all share a name in its male/female form.

DS- Right handed soldier
DD1- Hearth ruler hopeful
DD2- Happy faithful
Me- Dark haired/Warrior Johns daughter
DH- Valley dweller.

DS1 - Calm, defender of men
DS2 - Young warrior, brave

DS - God has heard Stone Humble
DD - Beloved Trustworthy Hope
