We found out we are going to have a daughter! Smile we are so happy - we already had names picked out.

Rosie will be her NN.

I like Roseanne, but I do prefer just Rose.

Would Rose Anne L... be okay? Then I can still call her Rose Anne, but she gets our favourite name.

Does Rose Anne just sound silly? Having 2, 1 syllable names?

As long as the L surname isn't Lee you will be fine!

Rose Anne is fine. Middle names don't really matter to anyone outside of the family.

I love Rosanna nn Rosie though.

Sophronia · 23/04/2016 19:40

Rose Anne is very nice

Mottled · 23/04/2016 19:40

It is fine. Rosemary is another option.

NoCapes · 23/04/2016 19:46

If you plan on calling her Rosie, why can't you just call her Rosle? Confused

1stTimeMummyToRosie · 23/04/2016 20:05

I don't plan on just calling her Rosie.

I plan on calling her Rosie; Rose and Rose Anne... It's easier for her name to be Rose Anne and NN her Rosie, than having her named Rosie and NN her Rose Anne.

How about Rosemary?

LeonoraFlorence · 24/04/2016 09:12

Lovely name. If you're still unsure, Primrose would be another option first name for NN Rosie :)

Rose Anne is ok but I prefer Rose plus another middle name. If she's going to get called Rose Anne then you might as well call her Roseanne! You can still use all nn's. I absolutely love Rosanna which would also let you use Rose and Rosie? It feels more sophisticated to me than Roseanne.
