ISOanameformyDD · 27/03/2016 17:30

Are you all keen on Gabby though?

Sophronia · 27/03/2016 17:33

Gabby/Gabi is ok. There's also Ella, Briella, Bree etc.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 27/03/2016 17:35

She's a little beauty. I know it's not on your list but she looks like a Jennifer to me.

Madbengalmum · 27/03/2016 17:37

QOD · 27/03/2016 17:38

I love Ella as a NN! But I know she'll get Gabby at school. She was a huge 10 lbs exact!

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 27/03/2016 17:55

If you like Ella. Just put Ella on her BC. It is a name in its own right.

ifigoup · 27/03/2016 17:58

Emmeline, Roseanna or Kate. She is absolutely gorgeous!

Normandy144 · 27/03/2016 18:00

You have good taste. My 6 week old is Charlotte Gabriella. Also on the short list was Lydia and oldest DD is Claudia. I love both Charlotte and Gabriella but DP got first dibs this time on choosing and went that way around.

OhHolyFuck · 27/03/2016 18:00

Emmeline, I have boys so can't use it so please use it for me! Beautiful name, important history behind it and great nn potential

fourage · 27/03/2016 18:02

Congratulations. She is beautiful.

Truth is we mumsnet people don't matter. It's up to you and your family. My DD was 10 days old before we decided a name, and legally you have 3 weeks, so don't feel pushed or pressured. You have plenty time. You can still be a great mother and give her care and love. She doesn't mind that she isn;t named yet- she has everything she needs right now.

ISOanameformyDD · 27/03/2016 18:03

I thought you was allowed 6 weeks!?

OP posts:
fourage · 27/03/2016 18:05

Sorry I may have that wrong. I was just trying to reassure the OP. If it's 6 weeks, then great.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 27/03/2016 18:07

You think you do have 6 weeks. I'm in England though. I don't about four. It could be different in others countries.

shutupandshop · 27/03/2016 18:09

She is just gorgeus. CongratulationsFlowers I like Emmeline from your list. What about Valerie?

Normandy144 · 27/03/2016 18:10

It's 6 weeks in England.

ScreamingNotWaving · 27/03/2016 18:10

I've just shown the picture to my DDs, they voted for Roseanna until we saw Rosalie.

She's beautiful, congratulations!

albertcampionscat · 27/03/2016 18:14

HRHsherlockssextoy · 27/03/2016 18:14
