What are yours and your contemporaries' names please? Would love to hear the popular and also rarer names. When I travelled there I met so many people around my age who I thought had different and interesting names (even though they may not seem it to you!) I need inspiration and I think you may be able to help me!

One of the names I recall is Jaimyn, which I just suggested on a different thread and it reminded me of the lovely names I came across.

TIA.

There was also a trend for Irish, or should I say cod-Irish names in the '80. So we have a lot of thirty somethings named Sinead, Sian and Siobhan, but also some called Shanae, Shevaun, Neve (prob misspelling of Niamh) and Keeva. I also know a Rochine, whose mother had not seen Roisin written down and so thought it was French.
