I'd prefer not to have a name which is too popular. Other DC have slightly unusual names. What do you think of the list so far?

Wulfric
Ezra

Clara
Talitha
Tara
Elsa
Arwen

Ezra is not massively uncommon around here (inner London). I know one well, and have heard of another three. Get in quick!

pieceofpurplesky · 26/02/2016 19:34

Talitha is too lispy as someone said.
I love Thalia and Thea.
How about Tabitha, Laken, Elora ...

DiamondStuddedFlunkie · 26/02/2016 19:52

Sorry I meant Thalia reminds me a bit of tagliatelle, not Tara your daughter! Blush

Arwen and Ezra are my faves.

thebiscuitindustry · 26/02/2016 19:56

I like Ezra, Clara, Tara and Elsa.

I'd pronounce Elspeth as ELL-speth, i.e. with a p, not a b sound.

MyBreadIsEggy · 26/02/2016 19:58

You seem to be leaning towards girls names starting with "T", so how about Taissa ?

TheOptimisticPessimist · 26/02/2016 20:01

I absolutely love your boys names. They're both on my list!

Jemimapuddleduk · 26/02/2016 20:04

I like Ezra and Arwen and know only one of each.

Pause for thought if you care about meanings

HairySubject · 26/02/2016 20:06

The Elspeth I know pronounces it ELls-beth.

Thalia is nice and Elora too.

Ezra for a boy is nice too.

FoodSchmood · 26/02/2016 20:17

I nearly called DD Alva and think it's a beautiful underused name!

thebiscuitindustry · 26/02/2016 20:18

How is Taissa pronounced? Is it Tie-issa? Not Taser I hope...

MyBreadIsEggy · 26/02/2016 20:40

My friend's dd is called Taissa and pronounces it Ty-ssa

DiamondStuddedFlunkie · 27/02/2016 09:18

I can't see Ezra in the top 100 so that's promising!

I like Wulfric and Arwen best from your list

StitchesInTime · 27/02/2016 09:30

According to the Darkgreener baby name site that tracks popularity trends, Ezra has risen sharply in popularity over the last few years.

If it keeps following that trend, it probably won't be long before it hits the top 100.

manicinsomniac · 27/02/2016 09:54

I love Arwen and really like Ezra and Talitha.

The other are all good options too. The only one I don't like is Wulfric.

Love suggestion of Elora. Thalia is nice.
