OK so you're wanting to call your dc Mya? But are wondering if the spelling Myah is OK?

Agree with pp who said Myah looks like nyah as in child speak, doesn't even look like a name.

If you want to pronounce it my-a, I'd spell it Maia

If you want to pronounce it me-a, I'd spell it Mia or Miah

Maya looks nicer written down. Lovely name. If you said it as may-a (may to rhyme with day) then you'd be wrong, my-a is the normal pronunciation. So no need to use Myah.

Erm..... Reminds me of 'Meh'. Sorry, OP. As someone whose parents opted for a more 'selective' spelling of my name, all I can say is that you child will find it hard. At primary school I already knew how to write my name.... Even the teacher kept telling me I was spelling it wrong!

Maia is fairly well known to be pronounced my-ah if that's what you are looking for? I have one. People have asked how it's spelt/pronounced if unsure and we've had fewer problems than I expected.

Mia - would be Mee-ah

Maya or Maja - this could be May-a or My-ah

I look at Myah and see "Mm-yar" - I think Mia or Maya look better, and people will know how to pronounce them.
