I hate being bitchy over names but this has to be a joke, it's too good not to share!

A friend of a friend is a midwife and over the weekend whilst she was working, apparently a family named their little girl VaGina.

mrsfuzzy · 18/01/2016 10:40

what if it was true though ? some names are pretty awful, someone i know called their child 'nisa' and at school she nicknamed 'pIsser' poor kid !

MrsGideon · 18/01/2016 10:43

Jeez Louise, you lot really don't have a sense of humour! PurpleDaisies why on earth do you think the OP is 'pathetic'?!

In the interest of lightheartedness (and this will totally out me but oh well), my dad once had a Korean colleague called Oh Bum Suk

I have his business card in my wallet so I know it's for real!

I have a sense of humour. For funny things. This isn't.

LadyMaryofDownt0n · 18/01/2016 10:51

Bullshit ..... Yawn. So unoriginal.

iamEarthymama · 18/01/2016 10:52

Thanks Alice for the link, I know how uncomfortable these 'jokes' make me feel and that article helps to explain.

squoosh · 18/01/2016 10:54

if it's that boring why waste time commenting on it?

bringambuy · 18/01/2016 10:58

My mum had a friend whose full name I think must have been 'Georgina' but she went by the name of 'Gina', pronounced like the last part of vagina.

Nobody laughed at her that I know of. Well, not to her face, anyway.

fidel1ne · 18/01/2016 11:08
Hmm
ButtonMoon88 · 18/01/2016 11:10

I hadn't heard this joke before and found it funny, so shoot me down. I found it partly funny because I wandered if it could be true but also funny because vagina is such a hilarious word haha thanks for making me fee like a stupid child Blush

kaitlinktm · 18/01/2016 11:10

I suppose it's no different to being called Fanny.

ButtonMoon88 · 18/01/2016 11:11

I'm now strongly of the opinion it's a load of crap and I'm a gullible fool for wandering otherwise!
