Arabella, Amelie or Ivy

Hi, I have another thread discussing the name Arabella which I thought I was pretty much set on (as my dh loves it too) but a few family members have turned their nose up when I have mentioned that we like the name Arabella so over last day or two I've been thinking of various different names for our little girl who is due in May.

Which name do people prefer out of Arabella (which we would likely shorten to Belle on occasion - not all the time), Amelie or Ivy. 🎀

Arabella, lovely name :)

I'd stick with Arabella - lovely name!

If not, then Amelie, because Ivy has yet to shake off completely the Coronation Street association.

Arabella will probably be shortened to Bella and there are so many of them I find it boring now. If you like it that's all that matters.

Thanks 🎀

Arabella - lovely and it was your choice
Amelie - too popular for my taste
Ivy - I have a 92 year old auntie called Ivy who is lovely but I associate the name with age

If you like names beginning with A then what about Annaliese, Araminta, Artemis(ia), Amaryllis, Alicia or Adelise?
