36 weeks pregnant and really struggling to commit to a boys name. We both love Rory and Jackson but don't know which way to go.. both names go well with our surname. Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Rory.

Jackson is horribly faddy, IMO.

Allalonenow · 19/12/2015 18:16

Rory!

Not at all keen on Jackson, he would certainly get Jack as a nn and there are many many Jacks already,

HeteronormativeHaybales · 19/12/2015 18:17

Rory. Please. Jackson is terrible (sorry)

magpie17 · 19/12/2015 18:17

Rory. There are lots of little Jacksons about just now, and even some 'Jaxons' Confused

SweepTheHalls · 19/12/2015 18:21

Jackson. I don't like Rory, it's a bit wet IMO.

mellmumma · 20/12/2015 09:31

I'm a big fan of Jackson here and it is on our shortlist too! x

sofato5miles · 20/12/2015 09:36

Jackson is a surname. 'Modern' is not always a good thing.

Rory is better.

TheDowagerCuntess · 20/12/2015 09:42

Jackson is not great.

gingerdad · 20/12/2015 09:45

I know a couple of each all little shits. So personally couldn't touch either. Sorry.

Oysterbabe · 20/12/2015 11:11

Jackson is v popular.
Rory is better but for some reason I find it quite hard to say.

Lweji · 20/12/2015 11:22

Jackson is a surname and a very clear surname at that. Jack's son.
So that would be a no from me.
