I love Evangeline but it's too long and I don't like Eva or Evie.

On the other hand , I like Cassie but don't like Cassandra and not keen on nicknames as actual names it's terrible I feel so picky and contrary but I just can't like any names

I know it is fairly popular, and not massively exciting or original, but it is still classic, and lovely.

Elizabeth, so I she would have about a thousand nicknames to chose from.

For the last 15 years or so I would have said Matilda - that's what both my DSs would have been if they'd been girls. But there are loads of Matildas around here two in DS's year at school and I have two friends who have Matildas. So that has changed my mind.
