How would you say this. I think it's welsh.

I have heard yay-un and y-eye-un

I think the 'correct' version is y-eye-un, from dyddieu, for Thursday?

Y-eye-an sounds like a Geordie Welshman to me!

I know two, and they both pronounce it Y-eye'un to rhyme with Ryan.
