Of polo mint earring fame.

WanderingTrolley1 · 15/11/2015 05:16

Not a fan.

Only1scoop · 15/11/2015 05:36

Sounds made up and hyphenated ....even though apparently it's not.

GothJoose · 15/11/2015 05:56

I went to school with a Joelle (Jo-Elle). Her family were from the carribean.

Ella is established enough as a standalone name so I'd just choose that.

TooOldTooTired · 15/11/2015 07:20

How about Luella?

Pinklily1 · 15/11/2015 08:55

For some reason it reminds me of the Dolly Parton song "Jolene".

IsadoraQuagmire · 15/11/2015 10:26

i have a friend named Joelle. She always goes by Jo though.

MajesticWhine · 15/11/2015 10:28

It's awful

MrsBalustradeLanyard · 15/11/2015 10:31

Hmm sounds a bit on the made up side. My friends DD is Joely which is lush.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/11/2015 18:04

Dreadful.

TremoloGreen · 15/11/2015 20:20

Why not just have Ella by itself, that's a name.

DD1 is known as a shortened version of her name, no-one ever calls her by her 'long' name and she doesn't even realise it is her name! (She's 2.)

mathanxiety · 16/11/2015 03:15

I think it's the opposite of trailer. I can see it as quite U.

CalliopeTorres · 16/11/2015 03:33

I know a Joely. I think that's a gorgeous name. Not 100% on Joella though.

Whoknewitcouldbeso · 16/11/2015 04:42

I too think it sounds very Nashville.

cally0 · 16/11/2015 13:44

How about Joelle? Has a chic feel to it!
