Do you know any Felicitys? If so, what are they like and do they have a nn?

I have a newborn DD named Felicity...she is registered, it's a done deal. DP and I bickered from 16 weeks onwards over what to call her. I wanted to call her Arabella, he like Georgia, so we compromised on Felicity as an 'it's ok' name for us both.
Now she's here it's just not right. It feels too formal for a tiny baby, and I know she will be an adult for a long time and a baby for the blink of an eye but I haven't actually used her name at all except when asked directly what it is. I call her Floss, which DP hates, but it suits my sweet smelling, scrumptious DD.
I guess I'm just wondering what connotations the name has for people, and what nicknames people have heard for it. I dislike Flick, before anyone suggests that one!

I know 3 adult Felicity's.

Fee, Flick and Flis. They are all lovely and They all go by their nn.

I've known a Felicity who's only ever been Felicity, and another one who was Liss/Lissa.

Fantastic name choice. Would she suit Felix. My dd2 had her name all picked out and didn't suit it when she arrived. She got shortened to a unisex nn and is now the tree climbing go getter she was always going to be.

I know two, both late forties, one nn Fly, the other Flick.

I know one. She's definitely and always Fliss.

My niece is a Felicity. She's usially Fliss, sometimes Fliss-Floss or Miss Fliss. She is two and gorgeous, charming and an absolute handful - under the cuteness hides a feisty little madam with an iron will! She is totally loveable though and one of these little girls who just charms everyone. It's a great name.

I know a 6 yo and an approx 40 yo Felicity, and they're both Fliss. One very gentle, the other a numbers geek (in a good way).

I know one, she's a dancer and very pretty. She's in her 20s now. Mainly called Felicity except by family who call her flick or fliss.

I used to know one who was very young when I knew her, she was always called Fizzy and it really suited her!

I was at school with a Felicity, known as Flick. She was very pretty, highly intelligent, and kind. Your baby is in good company.

The one I know (aged 71) has been Liss, Lissy, Fliss and occasionally Fizz.
