Initials - Am I overthinking??

We have our heart set on the name Abigail for a girl, however we were planning on using a family members name as the middle name which begins with an 'S' and our surname also begins with an 'S'. So that would mean the babies initials would spell 'A.S.S'. My husband thinks I am overthinking this and no-one would notice, but I am not sure, it seems very childish but then again they will have to live with it through school years.

If it makes any difference we are unlikely to use the middle name except for official documents, day to day I don't plan on using middle name.

So my question is would this stop you using this name?

When I was a kid we used to write in books ‘my initials loves his initials’, in fact my nickname is a play on my initials. so I think it is something that gets noticed. Either swap her first and second names and call her by the middle name. So Susan Abigail Smith but she be known as Abigail. Or add in another name.

When would someone EVER be designated by all of their initials, including a middle initial

I'm never been "designated" by all of my initials, but my friends know them. As I know theirs. If kids find out that someone's initials are ASS, you think they're just gonna say "oh, that's nice" and not laugh? Come on!
