Honey Krissy Wood

What do you think? I love it. I think Rex and Honey make a lovely pair (though I love quirky names) Grin

Congrats to them on the birth of their beautiful dd Flowers

I really like Honey - I like names with an immediate association with something nice. And represents such a beautiful colour too Smile

UrbaneFox · 09/09/2015 17:50

Honey? hate it.

Imagine when you're trying to get a load of builders to listen to what you want. Can I speak to your husband love, sorry, can I speak to your husband honey?

argh! I'd hate if my parents had called me this!

vestandknickers · 09/09/2015 17:52

Honey Wood? Good lord.

Sounds like a hamster treat.

squoosh · 09/09/2015 17:54

I'd have thought they'd have gone for something a bit cooler and more fashiony like........Greta or something.

InQuiteAPickle · 09/09/2015 17:59

I don't mind Honey but not with the surname Wood. Although, I have to say, one of my childhood friends had a dog called Honey (it was Honey coloured) and it was a nasty bastard of a dog so that puts me off a little bit. She was a German Shepherd cross and used to go for me all the time. It grabbed me once on the arm. I loved dogs but I was terrified of Honey!

EmpressKnowsWhereHerTowelIs · 09/09/2015 18:01

At least it's not Hunni.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 09/09/2015 18:17

I didn't even know she was pregnant.

sugar21 · 09/09/2015 18:24

Jaysus Mary Mother of God .
I had a bunny called Honey got it online. Grin

floatyflo · 09/09/2015 18:26

I prefer it to Rex!

TenQuidProQuo · 09/09/2015 18:26

At least it wasn't Polly. Confused

think about it Blush

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 09/09/2015 18:30

I love Honey Grin. Although saying that makes me think of LoveHoney Blush.

The full name Honey Wood makes me think of Winnie The Pooh. Odd brain that I have.

Rex on the other hand is a dog's name. As I suppose is Honey, but Honey sits better on a human than Rex to me.

Sophronia · 09/09/2015 21:36

Agree that Honey and Rex sound like pets.

NorbertDentressangle · 09/09/2015 21:39

Honey and Rex sound like a pair of labradors.

MrsGentlyBenevolent · 09/09/2015 21:46

Honey is about a drippy a name as you can get. Their kid though, and the absolute reality is the child is more likely going to be a media lovey than a judge, so won't stand out from her equally-silly-named, media personalities baby group.

fairyfeatures · 10/09/2015 10:35

Waited so bloody long for this baby to be born and hear it's name for inspiration... I feel bloody let down! Grin

Fearne, Jesse, Rex and Honey - bleurgh!

mrstweefromtweesville · 10/09/2015 11:32

I think its a silly name. Each of the names is ok alone, but together, they sound silly. Ah well.

reuset · 10/09/2015 14:25

I'm not interested in names celebs inflict give to their offspring. But Honey is an awful name. Rex I don't mind.

Aroundamulberry · 10/09/2015 14:40

Makes me think of 'Honey boo boo' Hmm

mrsschu · 10/09/2015 14:59

Sounds completely ridiculous. Not that keen on Rex either but it's waaaaay better than Honey... Why not call her Jam, or Sweet, or something equally silly?

TheDowagerCuntess · 10/09/2015 15:14

I would hate to be called Honey.

Christ - way to guarantee you'll have to fight to be taken seriously.

CheekyMaleekey · 10/09/2015 15:17

Rex is naff.

Pet's names.

lugo40 · 11/09/2015 17:10

I like Rex. It's a traditional name that's rarely used. Have never known a pet named rex.

Personally I don't think honey krissy goes very well together. Honey is a sweet name for a baby but I don't think it's particularly good for an adult so I wouldn't use it.

MissFenella · 11/09/2015 20:18

I always liked Melina - Greek for honey

TheDowagerCuntess · 11/09/2015 22:00

I really like Rex - had a great uncle called Rex (Reginald), born early 1900s.

Probably wouldn't use it myself, as Reginald clearly isn't an option, and I'm not one for nicknames as names.

ems1910 · 11/09/2015 22:31

I love it and would use it as a middle name if it wasn't the start of our surname Hmm
