Boy's name Ferris

Our 4 day old ds3 is currently name-less. We like unusual names. I really like Ferris, and it goes really well with our surname, but have one reservation and wonder if others would think the same. What are your thoughts on Ferris?

Thanks for all your comments. Feeling very torn. I'm going to post our shortlist on a new thread and see if that helps narrow it down.

I’d love to know what you named him in the end! We are due a second boy, and Ferris is my favourite name at the moment!

Haha - I definitely wasn't expecting a notification from a Mumsnet post after 11 years!

In the end, we didn't go with Ferris - our little 4-day-old became Felix instead, and it suits him perfectly.
