Honest opinions on our girls shortlist.

Still very early days (not due until March!) but it's going to take forever for us to decide so we may as well start now, thank goodness boys names are sorted. DS is Samuel.

What are your thoughts on:
Victoria
Megan
Abigail
Alexis
Madeline
Paige
Savannah
Sian

Abigail was our frontrunner with DS but I have fallen in love with Victoria. Suggestions welcome, but no 'granny chick' names or anything too out there.

Tori is a better nickname for Victoria .

Victoria-like it maybe tori for nickname
Megan-hate it sorry
Abigail-like it but prefer abbey
Alexis-like it but I love a Alexa
Madeline-hate it sorry
Paige-love it but it will date badly I think
savannah-love it

I love paige and madeline. really really dislike vicky and my concern would be her friends might do it or god forbid she might grow up and choose it. Victoria and tori are okay if it can enforced!

My favourite is Paige but you've crossed it off. :(

You can shorten Victoria to Tori, Tor, Ria or Toria

Not keen on any of your original list but love Louisa.

I prefer Alexa/Alexia to Alexis.

Glad you've discarded Paige - that and Savannah see, at odds with the other choices.

Victoria, Megan, Abigail, Sian- i feel a bit 'meh' about all of these. I dont like any of the nicknames for Victoria.
Paige, Savannah - really dislike.
Alexis - I like this, I think it is quite a cool, strong name - maybe quite hard to pull off? Doesn't sit well with Samuel IMO. Alexa or Alexandra are a little softer?

Victoria - quite like it. Very elegant. Dislike Vicky
Megan - nice, solid name.
Abigail - love it. My sister is an Abigail and I used to be rather jealous.
Alexis - love it. Was on my shortlist all 3 times.
Madeline - really like it. For some reason I prefer the spelling Madeleine
Paige - it's ok
Savannah - love it. I have one. I hope people don't fail to take her seriously as an adult. Though at the moment she'll only consider dance as a career option so maybe it will suit her!
Sian - really like it. And never met a young one.

Alexis, Paige or Sian are my favourites.

Love Victoria, was put off using it due to surname starting with D.
Louisa and Madeleine are my other favourites from your list.

Victoria, Megan, Abigail and Madeline (sp?) are all nice names. Alexis and Sian are ok, not my taste. Paige is absolutely dreadful, super American and try hard. Savannah is also awful. Both names sound silly IMO.

Really don't like Paige.

Don't like shortened versions of Victoria, Megan abs Abigail.
