Just that really. Would they be chancers? Or could they be academic? Dunno what impression these names give.

Really nice little boys - I've taught several of each at secondary, and all were lovely.

I work with a grown up Sonny. He's extremely camp and high energy with a love of designer clothes. So funny that people are imagining the opposite! It suits him but I must admit I did think it was a nickname at first. Our work environment isnt at all formal so nobody bats an eyelid, but I wouldn't take him seriously as, say, an accountant. He's still fairly young tbf, can't imagine him at 50.

Freddie is a real cheeky chappy name to me. I think its cute. It was DDs boys name as DHs lovely Grandad was a Fred and we wanted to honour him, but we preferred Freddie.

I hope I wouldn't judge the child. But I would sure as hell judge the parents of a Sonny.

Freddie - educated, successful, charming

Sonny - cool, quirky, cheeky
