Just that really. I'm interested in hearing options for both boys and girls.
Thanks.

Xanthe, if you just want the sound?

oneowlgirl · 27/06/2015 17:58

I have a colleague whose wife is called Zarqa (Middle Eastern origin I think) - think it's a beautiful name.

Zander, Ziad

Zinnia. Beatiful name for a girl. It would have been on my shortlist if I'd had another girl.

All the Zs look weird and not like real letters now! Not used to seeing so many
I really like Zinnia

TheCowThatLaughs · 27/06/2015 17:59

X post with mintyy

Zaki, Zane/Zayn and Zacharia/h- male, lovely and 'normal'

Zara/Zahra, Zoe (can't do the dots, apologies!) and Zinnia- female, lovely and 'normal'

AccordingToOurRecords · 27/06/2015 18:13

Zosia is lovely and it is Polish. It was my chosen girls name but I had boys. FIL was Polish.

PonderousTortoise · 27/06/2015 18:48

I know a little Zella, which I've always thought was lovely.

Canyouforgiveher · 27/06/2015 19:04

I knew a very cool little boy called Zeno. Think it was the name of a Greek philosopher.

LavenderRain · 27/06/2015 20:22

Magmatic80 · 28/06/2015 14:49

Anyone else doubting themselves that Z is a real letter? They're making my eyes go funny!

LikeABadSethRogenMovie · 28/06/2015 14:50

My friends dd is Zhea. I think it's a surprisingly pretty name.

LikeABadSethRogenMovie · 28/06/2015 14:52

And the Z's are making my eyes go funny too. They're making all the names looked made up!

Onesugar · 28/06/2015 14:56

Thanks for the responses. I was actually thinking that many girls' names beginning with S could also work with Z, e.g. Zarah, Zandra.

Yes, BikeRunSki, to clarify when I said 'normal' I really should have said mainstream, I didn't mean to offend. I meant that I didn't want to make up a name just so that I could use Z.
