Girls Shortlist: pick two

[alyxlndn]

Spencer
Aurelia
Philippa (Pippa)
Clementine (Emmy)
Darcy
Nellie

Please pick your two favourite!
Keep in mind she has/will have two brothers called Ezra and Sasha, and the last name starts with an F and is one syllable.

Clementine and Aurelia are lovely.

Really dislike Spencer for a girl

Clementine and Nellie are quite nice!

Bucking the trend - I like Spencer - or maybe Spenser with an s? Also like Clementine.

Darcy is the only one I don't hate. I don't like any of them, but it's the best of a particularly bad bunch.

Aurelia. I like Spencer (esp. Spencer Aurelia) but I agree it could be confused with a ds called Sasha.

Darcy is the only one I like the sound of/ use myself.

Aurelia and Darcy, definitely.

I like Clementine.

Aurelia makes me think of areola which isn't a great association for a girls name.

Spencer and Darcy are boys names. Philippa is boring and Pippa is just a bit too much like an energetic perky girls book heroine.

Philippa and Darcy :)

I've been watching a bit of Pretty Little Liars on Netflix while I've been on maternity leave (such a silly show, but it passes the time!); is that where you got the idea for Spencer as a girls name? It's grown on me since watching the show.

However as others have stated due to the ambiguity of Sasha as a boy or a girls name I wouldn't go with something long associated with boys names or confusion may arise.

I'd go with Nellie or Clementine from that short list.
