Aaliyah is not popular where I am from never heard it, I'm considering different spellings such as
Alea
Aleigha

It's very pretty. I know a 7 year old Aaliyah and she is beautiful not just to look but in her personality. Very considerate and sensitive to the needs of others, she's also very fun loving.
I also like if spelled
Alia.
