I am expecting fraternal twins (boy and girl).
Felix Nathaniel
Nora Grace
What's everyone's opinions on these names?

I love the name Felix but it really only suits cats and those children who get driven to their expensive public schools in brand new 4x4s. Maybe just my perception.
Just go with whatever you like and feel comfortable with :)

Love Nora, not sure i love Grace as it is so over used. Not a massive fan of Felix but only because the one i know is a twat! Im sure if i didnt know him i wouldnt mind it although its a bit of a cat name, like Oscar, he is a cat too!! Grin

bellathebluebell · 19/05/2015 11:45

No

Felix the cat and Nora Batty or Nora Jones (don't like her sorry).

MsGee · 19/05/2015 11:52

I am less sure about Felix but love Nora.

... However, I am very biased as its the shortened version of my DDs name. We initially had a lot of people say that they hated it but now most people say that they love it. And we've never met another Nora. :) I do giggle occasionally as her tights are always wrinkled like Nora Batty but none of her friends are as old as me, so its not really an issue.

Love both! My ds is going to be Felix!

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 20/05/2015 16:55

Who is Nora Batty?! Oh and I will definitely be driving my Felix to a private school in my new SUV ;-)

ElleGrace · 20/05/2015 17:37

Love Felix Nathanial, love both the names Grace and Nora, but can't really say I love them together. Then again, Im Eleanor Grace so maybe I'm just tired of hearing it!

lastqueenofscotland · 20/05/2015 19:19

Love love LOVE Nora.... Felix..... that's a cat.

chaya5738 · 20/05/2015 22:04

Felix the cat is fabulous!

I love the name!

As for middle names, I only really like middle names that have some family connection.

rallytog1 · 23/05/2015 13:43

Nora is lovely. We'd have used it for our dd, only if rhymes with our surname Grin

Marisola · 23/05/2015 14:52

Felix I quite like, although I liked it more when it was less popular, because I'm like that Grin

Nora I don't like. I think it's because it's a bit nasal, and makes me think Snorer. OTOH I do like Dora.

VixxFace · 23/05/2015 15:20

Prefer Grace and Nate

LeoandBoosmum · 23/05/2015 16:44

Nora = first thought is 'Nitty Nora the head explorer', sorry. I think of Felix as a cat's name.

MamaLazarou · 23/05/2015 19:40

Can't get over the cat food connection, I'm afraid.

Imscarlet · 23/05/2015 19:48

I prefer Norah for spelling. My granny was a Nora. I'd like to see it come back into fashion.

AlmaMartyr · 23/05/2015 19:57

I like them both, although prefer Nora. I know of a few baby Noras so I do think it might be gaining in popularity a fair bit if that bothers you.

Really don't like Nora - again, I think of Nora Batty. DH loves it though.
