hyphenated boys name

So we have two adopted DCs who both have hyphenated names.
We usually refer to them by their first name because we prefer it as their full hyphenated names are a bit of a mouthful.

Now I am pregnant and we are looking at names and we are pondering a hyphenated boys name but haven't found one we love so far.

So please give me your best hyphenated boys name.

I think the sentiment is lovely and I can fully understand why you'd want this. It's just difficult as hyphenated names tend to be either super-religious or a bit daft (Buddy-Bear etc).
Do you use your DS's full names still? (I know some alter after adoption even if unofficial)
I think 2syllables-1 sounds best.
Marley-joe
Finlay-Ted
That kind.
Are there any names you really love that are standaloney and we could help find a combiner?

Another vote for John-James, knew one and he was always called his full name, it sounds nice to say.

There was John-James on big brother - he got his full name - I like them both together as well. Although I am a big fan of the name James - dh isn't though :-(

John-Paul is the only one that works for me, but not keen on hyphenated names.

I usually really dislike hyphenated names but you have a really lovely reason for choosing one, it will be a lovely link between the brothers.

I think classic names sound best rather than nicknames as that can sound rather young and informal as they grow up.

My ds is not hyphenated but for some reason he's always Patrick-John at home. Nobody else calls him that, just his dad and sister and me. I don't actually like hyphenated names- but I think that sounds nice.
