Bronwyn nn Winnie
Indifferent to them so its an either or,

DampAndRotten · 13/05/2015 22:39

Of the two, Bonnie.

I agree with 2boys though - Bronwyn (or Bronwen) is beautiful and then you could use either nn..

sweetpeame · 13/05/2015 22:46

I don't like either name to be homest but if you're going for one the Bronwen nn Bonnie is better.

debricassartcleary · 13/05/2015 22:50

What about Minnie instead? Not keen sorry but Bonnie if had to choose.

DramaAlpaca · 13/05/2015 22:50

Bonnie

Whenwillwe3meetagain · 13/05/2015 22:51

Bronwyn can be translated from Welsh to English as white breasts!

getbusyliving · 13/05/2015 22:57

how about Wilhelmina ? nn Minnie or Willa

timelyreminder · 13/05/2015 23:23

Winnie.

Bonnie is a 1980s Blue Peter dog or Bonnie Langford.

ch1134 · 14/05/2015 20:07

Winona?
Though personally I don't like the sound of 'Winnie'. It sounds whinghy.

ColdCottage · 14/05/2015 20:11

Arwen for Winnie

AuntieStella · 14/05/2015 20:15

Winnie (the Pooh?) is usually Winifred, but could be any ends-in-wyn name. It doesn't sound whingy to me, but a whinny is a definite type of noise.

Bonnie is OK - and as all babies are bonny by definition, it could be a totally random nn.

SueGeneris · 14/05/2015 20:19

The Winnie I know is short for Winsome.

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 15/05/2015 10:15

God not Winnie. Please! Bonnie is pretty, Winnie isn't.

Marcipex · 15/05/2015 11:14

Bonnie is awful, twee-yet-drab, and Winnie is just plain drab.
Sorry but please don't.

squoosh · 15/05/2015 11:35

Bonnie is acceptable.

Winnie is dreadful.

Jazzicatz · 15/05/2015 11:38

Definitely names for a Labrador!

Both so lovely!

gnushoes · 15/05/2015 11:42

Winnie Mandela? Bonnie Langford?? Hmm.

OutragedFromLeeds · 15/05/2015 11:46

I'm not keen on either, but I prefer Winnie. It's cute for a little girl, don't like it for an older child/adult though. Could be short for Edwina, Gwyneth, Guinevere, Gwendolyn, Winter or Winona. All of which are pretty awful imo.

Kaekae · 17/05/2015 01:46

Winnie for me.

stillsingingintherain · 17/05/2015 02:23

Cant stand Winnie, I'm afraid. Like Bonnie, have you thought of Connie?

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 17/05/2015 02:27

One of my best friends is a Bonnie and she is absolutely lovely so I'm biased!

MissBluebell · 17/05/2015 20:05

I think Winnie is adorable.

AmysTiara · 17/05/2015 20:06

Oh no not Winnie, it's awful

Bonnie is much nicer.
