Lennox, Jarvis or Errol?

Hi all,

I'm finding boys names really tricky - DH and I have very different taste. 3 we have settled on are Lennox, Jarvis and Errol.

I'm leaning towards Jarvis, but I'm not completely sold.

Could you suggest any other names with a similar feel? We will not like anything in the Jayden-school-of-thought, nor do we want a revived grandad name like Alfie.

Middle name will be Ford, and our surname begins with G.

Thanks very much!

Not a single mention of Errol Brown who has just died. Sad

Jarvis is my favourite. Jarvis Cocker. What's not to like?

Great list! Really like Jarvis, Errol, Linus and Lennox - fantastic names, all of them. Think Silas fits well with them.

Personally would avoid Basil because Fawlty Towers is so firmly embedded in the national consciousness - people would forever be calling out "Basil!" in the Sybil voice.

I like Errol but I just think of the kid in Uncle. Not that that's a bad thing .....

Lennox is my favourite followed by Jarvis. Both good names.

Errol is awful though. I know there's the suave Errol Flynn but wasn't he just a clap ridden perv with a thing for underage girls?

I'm not so keen on Errol or Lennox.

Love Linus, Silas and Jarvis.

DD goes to a club with a Spike and a Basil Smile

Thanks everybody, 99% sure we are going to go with Jarvis.

Have Pulp on repeat right now Grin
