.... Or is Josette a lovely name? I fear people will think me crazy and hormonal but I love it!

I like it because of the Chalet School connection. But I can see how, if you don't have that association, it could sound a bit Jolene-ish.

Hi, I know this is a zombie thread.... But I have just discovered this name and really like it. Like Josie and Etta as possible nn but love Josette on its own. Opinions please!!

Burgatroyd · 23/12/2015 07:28

Its fine enough...

But I advise that you start a new thread titles Josette for more opinions

PunkAssMoFo · 23/12/2015 14:24

I like it & considered for a middle name. Go for it.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 23/12/2015 19:37

French names in English accents sound pretty dire IMO.

DandyDan · 27/12/2015 23:20

It's lovely.
I remember Josette Simons from Blake's 7 too.

ZOMBIE ALERT

I used to work with a lady called Josette in Paris. This was the 2000s and she was close to retirement. I wonder if it's a name that might be considered old French lady chic?

TwistInMySobriety · 30/12/2015 21:22

It's awful in French, sorry. Really frumpy.
