30 weeks here and STILL pondering potential girls names. DH has suggested this name to me, with the shortening of Rose/Rosa. He just loves the old Thin Lizzy song he tells me Grin We can't use Rose/Rosa on its own, due to it not going at all with our surname. So what are your thoughts please on Rosalie? Grin

It makes me think of Rosalie Brown's series of craft books, which I loved when I was a girl. I imagine Rosalie as being artistic, creative and capable.

I love it, it was one of my faves if we had another girl but we're having our first ds :)

For some reason I can never remember if it's pronounced lee or lie.

I almost thought I was the only one thinking 'gypsy' until Superherosidekick mentioned fortune tellers.

I think of the burlesque star 'Gypsy Rose Lee', and seaside fortune tellers, and I know someone from a family of travellers called Rosalie.

Grin Burlesque starStar.... Well that could make things interesting when I introduce her to people Grin

I also think of fortune tellers, and someone I know from a family of travellers recently named their daughter Rosalie (after a grandmother I think).
