Naima Bibi and Mikheel Imraz are my favourites.

Both look lovely written down :)

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 05/04/2015 14:53

I like Naima and Mikeel too, in fact I like all of them except Nooh.

Where do the names originate from?

RL20 · 05/04/2015 14:54

I love Aleena Bibi and afraid Imraz! Lovely names

RL20 · 05/04/2015 14:55

Another vote for Naima Bibi and Mikheel Imraz!

NadiaWadia · 05/04/2015 16:00

I also like Naima and Mikheel best, but Faris and Aleena are quite nice too. How would you pronounce 'Nooh' - just like 'nooo'? Is it the equivalent to 'Noah'? It's a little strange to western ears, you may find.

DianeLockhart · 05/04/2015 16:07

Aleena and faris

Chillyegg · 05/04/2015 17:29

Yey! They're my favourites too! There all islamic/quranic names that originate from arabic or turkish.

So Nooh pronounced Nhooo with a soft H means Noah its from the quran.
Faris is arabic for knight, bravery and nobleness!
Mikheel or Michael is named after the angel Mikheel from the Quran.

Dilara is turkish it means loved one, and hearts desire or most loving.
Naima means blessing in arabic

Aleena, means most loving

Bibi is my mil middle name

Dilara and Naima are really pretty, and Mikheel and Faris are both good.

Are you in UK? I think Nooh is clumsy in English, so wouldn't choose it in an English speaking context

FadedRed123 · 06/04/2015 00:05

Hi All, new to MN, so hope this is ok. Chilly egg, many congrats on exciting times ahead. Think all your ideas are lovely and when you see your new babe, one of them may suddenly seem the 'right' choice, that's what happened when our Dd arrived. Just be a bit careful with initials, especially where you have vowel as middle initial, to avoid Dc ending up with potentially embarrassing acronym e.g. NIT, depends on your surname/family name, of course.

Chillyegg · 06/04/2015 10:45

Yes I'm in the uk.
I had thought about pronunciations so i think nooh is of the list.

That is a vey good point last name would begin with a H but it certainly is something to consider!
