We're expecting a baby with a bilateral cleft lip and probable palate and they may have speech problems when they begin to talk, especially with the sounds mentioned.
I spoke it a speech therapist I know & she said all vowel sounds will be easy for them to say, along with the nasal sounds m and n, but other sounds may not be so clear.
We want to give them a middle name that will be easy for them to say, in case they struggle with their first name.
Got lots of ideas for girls (Nina, Anna, Emily), but struggling for a boy.
Any suggestions?

I've got a DS called Arron.

We wanted to avoid the Aaron spelling as we hate the Air-ron pronunciation.

Wow! So many ideas! Thank you.

TRex we don't know for sure whether there will be any problem with the palate at all, and if there is, it may be really successfully repaired in surgery, so it's more of a precaution, just incase they find their first name difficult.

Of course, sorry - you don't owe me an explanation. That question was a lack of brain to mouth filter on my part. Or brain to hand, I suppose, in this case! x
