A boys' name to rival Huckleberry

A friend at work has a little boy called Huckleberry (known as Huck).

I LOVE it but obviously can't copy it, as it's SO unique.

Can anyone think of any 'similarly' out-there but cute/cool names for boys?? Ds2 is due in the summer and I am struggling with an awesome, strong, interesting, unique name for him.

Interested in names from nature, literature, don't mind surnames-as-forenames in some cases...just something that stands out a bit from the kings and saints...

I DONT like: the trend for old-man names, or boys' names that sound too soft/feminine (I would put things like Robin, Caspar into this camp).

Help! Any ideas! What's the most awesome boys name you've ever heard??

You say this is DS2... What's your DSs name? I think they should complement each other a little.... Would be a bit odd to have one called Jayden and then one called Augustus for example...

Not keen on Zephaniah - sounds biblical and we are atheists!

DS1 is called Keir. We are not Scottish just raging lefties and I loved the name. Solid, strong, unusual, but a "real name" nonetheless.

So can't really go too ancient-Greek as it won't really match with DS1's name. Think Atticus etc are out (and don't think we are quite posh enough to carry it off anyway!).

Keep em coming!

(For obvious NHS reasons I love Aneurin/Nye but think it's a bit harder to carry off, not being welsh, than it is to carry off Keir not being Scottish...)

Like Huxley but it always makes me think of bulldogs (Darwin's bulldog, right?!)...
