I'm due tomorrow! We have a boys name but not a girls!
What names do you think go with our dd's names?

I want Amelie, DH doesn't
He wants Scarlett, I don't
I like Violet but last name begins with V and I'm not sure about the alliteration..
I'm out of ideas! I've exhausted the baby name book!
Hoping someone will suggest something I haven't thought of!

Amelie and Scarlett both great names! I immediately thought Sophie but I see you have Sofia as a middle name already.

Ivy?

It's got the 'ee' of Phoebe and the 'v' of Olivia so I think it 'goes' (also in terms of the style).

I think you can't have something like Claudia, even though I love it, as it's a too similar to Olivia on the ending...

I like Miriam, Tamsin, Melissa, Juliet

MerryMarigold · 16/03/2015 13:08

On the Shakespearean, love Miranda & Helena!

MerryMarigold · 16/03/2015 13:10

( Oh, and a tip. Leave the name till after the birth and you can have your own way! I did that. Dh was too impressed with me, and sorry about what I'd gone through, to argue for 'his' name).

And Meredith is another name I love.

I agree about ending in a like Olivia, it would be better not too.

My late nan was Ivy so I do have a family connection to that name, I think I would prefer to use it as a middle name though.

And I tried the waiting till after birth to name baby but it didn't work.. Hubby got his way... Twice!! :(
