Starting a girl version because I don't have a son and can't join in on the other thread.

Is anybody not concerned that these types of threads linked up to other identifying posts on threads can tell a determined person who you all are IRL?

Or is it just me who gets the heebies? Grin

No, I would be concerned by that too gamer. They are also a pretty pointless thread, just a list of names and ages... Confused

Yup agree its it a very good idea to put all this in the public domain. My kids have very identifiable names not top 10 ones

MoominKoalaAndMiniMoom · 15/03/2015 20:54

I'm not worried about people finding my MN account - I'm a strong believer in, if you wouldn't say it in real life, don't say it online Grin

Plus I have a blog so idenfitifiable may as well be my middle name...

gamerchick · 15/03/2015 20:56

Imagine someone who thinks they know who you are. Wouldn't it make sense to make a thread asking for specific details on something people like to talk about? Not saying that this one is mind.

I mean my kids names would out me straight away if I posted them.

I just think it's interesting to see the range of names chosen in different years and how they differ from the suggestions and opinions you get for pregnancies on here.

Nobody has to post if they're worried about being identified do they!

these threads amaze me as I often read rather radical names on here yet the names listed are quite generic and know.

I had a dd of nearly 10 months called Scarlett but DH and i call her Star.
