I like these 2 names but not sure which sounds better. I need some more opinions please. I also like Christie but not Christine. Middle name possibly Louise

I'm not keen on either, Christie is quite nice though, I'd like it short for Christina or Christabel.

Kristen. Kirsten sounds like a bottle of disinfectant.

Sparklemummyx0x0x · 26/02/2015 00:28

Christina is lovely. Hmm ok something else to think about.

I really like Kristin, as in Kristin Scott Thomas. Very elegant.

Leeds2 · 26/02/2015 16:17

Prefer Kristen of the two.

Kirsty is also similar.

mathanxiety · 26/02/2015 18:44

Kirsten by a long shot. Or Kirsty. Or Christina. (Or go Polish and spell it Krystyna with Krysia as a nn.)

I know a bunch of American Kristens/Kristins. In America it is a very dated name from the 70s and 80s, the equivalent of Michelle and Karen and all the rest of the names from that era that you wouldn't dream of calling a child nowadays.

weegiemum · 26/02/2015 18:45

Kirsten. Or Kirsteen.

littleangel1006 · 27/02/2015 19:22

Have family with Kristina...

fattymcfatfat · 27/02/2015 20:11

Kirsty Louise Smile

shakemysilliesout · 27/02/2015 20:11

I like Kirsty

OutragedFromLeeds · 27/02/2015 20:19

I like Kristen best. Kirsten is ok. Christie is awful.

I also don't think there is anything wrong with Karen or Michelle either. Not fashionable right now, but perfectly fine names.

Kirsten or Kirsty

Wolfiefan · 27/02/2015 21:00

Kirsten can be ker sten or kier (rhymes with pier) sten.
Which did you mean?

myotherusernameisbetter · 27/02/2015 21:05

or it can be Kir stin Confused I can't say I've ever heard it pronounced Kier sten (Scottish) but I guess it's all in the accent...

BadIdeaBear · 27/02/2015 21:14

I prefer Kirsten.
