If you're a young mum and you have a son... What's his name?

I want to hear what young mums have called their sons!
I know I will probably get people asking why only young mums and older mums can obviously pick the same names. I'm just trying to find a way of seeing different boys names through the generations. I'm 22 and expecting a baby boy and struggling so much with boys names.
So far I only like Max, Theo, and my favourite - Freddie.
I don't like really cutesy names but also not a huge fan old names such as Tom, Ben or Jack.
I wish I wasn't so picky but I'm finding boys names a lot harder to choose than when we were thinking of girls names a a while back!

Whatever the name, write it here!

I'm young but don't have dc. My friends who have had dc and are my age or younger have used Charlie, Lorenzo, Jack, Leo, Alfie, George, Ralphie, Tommy, Freddie

MaelstromOfLunacy · 05/02/2015 19:05

Letmeeatcakecakecake · 05/02/2015 19:58

I was 20 when I had my first, he's called Dexter

Fancyachive · 05/02/2015 20:02

I am 22 my ds is Stanley

InQuiteAPickle · 05/02/2015 20:11

I love Stanley! Smile friends of mine have just announced that they're having a little girl but they said that their boys name would have been Stanley. I almost feel sad that they can't use it now.

I was 23 when I had my first. She's a girl but around that time boys names that I liked were Charlie and George.

I love Theo although I think I would go for Theodore, personally. I'm not considered a young mum anymore though .

pinkgirlythoughts · 06/02/2015 15:38

I was 24 when I had my eldest. He's a Frederick and his younger brother is Stanley. Young mums I know of who've had boys recently have called them:

Harrison
Rhys
Louie
Bobby
Elliott
William
James

Dontbugmemalone · 06/02/2015 20:08

I was 20 when I had DS1 and 23 with DS2 and I named them Morgan and Alex.

LovesBooks · 06/02/2015 20:14

I was 20 when I had ds and his name is Michael.

I also liked Nicholas, Edward and Arthur. Am a fan of traditional names rather than more modern ones like Jayden and Levi etc. My oh's nephew is called Levi and it does suit him. Each to their own.

5madthings · 06/02/2015 20:20

I'm 22 and have a Freddy :) birth certificate is Frederick though as I love classic/old/long names.

StayGoldPonyBoy · 08/02/2015 19:36

If DD was a boy she would have been called Luca.

We also liked
Liam
Nathaniel
Max
Evan

TruJay · 08/02/2015 19:42

I was 21 when I had ds, he's Jacob nn Coby. I do love very unusual names but Jacob is a name DH and I have loved since we were both younger and turns out to not have been popular at all, he's never met another his own age and is the only one in his school year. It suits him so well.
I like Max and Theo from your list.

DarkHeart · 08/02/2015 20:31

I was 20 when I had my son and he is called Asher

HariboBrenshnio · 08/02/2015 20:41

I'm 24, had DS when I was 23 and he's called Harry. Henry, Jack and Jett were on our list too.
