I like it very much, and Nate is a cool NN.

TheNewStatesman · 02/02/2015 01:34

I like it! Nate and Nat are good nicknames too.

Arsenic · 02/02/2015 01:40

Makes me think of Nathaniel Parker.

Guin1 · 02/02/2015 12:30

Love it - was on my short list for DS, but DH vetoed, can't remember why. Love nn Nate and Nat.

MehsMum · 02/02/2015 12:35

Love it. I used to know one.
He got called Natty, which is perhaps a nn to avoid.

BikeRunSki · 02/02/2015 12:37

I like it. I've only ever met one, he is 6. He is known as Nat. I prefer Nate as a nn though.

OnceUponATimeAgain · 02/02/2015 12:47

Nat always makes think of a girl (Natalie)

dont like it

rachel234 · 02/02/2015 14:02

How do you pronounce this, Nat-an-yel or Nathan-yel?

Arsenic · 02/02/2015 14:19

I would say Nth-AN-ul rachel

Tisiphone · 02/02/2015 14:22

Nth-AN-yul, usually. I like it, OP. An underused classic, I would say, with several nice short form options.

squoosh · 02/02/2015 14:26

I really like it, nice Victorian gentleman air about it. Prefer Nate to Nat.

OrangeFluff · 02/02/2015 14:37

I like it. I know two Nathaniels, they are known as Nat and Nath.

livsmum4 · 02/02/2015 15:49

Love Nate but prefer Nathan as a full name.
