Already have a 2yr old Imogen and due is 7wks...struggling for another girls name to compliment it

Don't know what we're having but due in 7wks. Can't decide on ANY girls names :(
We have a few boys names.... Elliott / Edward / Charles. I like Isabelle but I think it's starting to rank up there in the Top 20 names. I prefer something a little more old fashioned, traditional and one that's not heard of that often. I need it to compliment Imogen and that's why I like the sound of Isabelle. Suggestions please? x

My DSis has an Imogen. Her new baby daughter is called Nancy.

Her shortlist included: Harriet, Francesca, Philippa, Meredith and Genevieve.

If DN had been a boy she would've been called Benjamin Felix.

I like Imogen and Alice, and Imogen and Esme.

(At risk of outing myself, I have an Edward and an Imogen! Good choice. Grin)

I think Bryony goes well with Imogen. You don't come across many either.

Alice would complement it well.

I don't know if I would go for Isabel/lle, lovely as it is, because of the afore-mentioned problems you could get with 2 sisters with the same initial. Isabelle is very popular too of course, if that bothers you.

Imogen is lovely too, and has a bit of a Shakespearean vibe to me (think she was one of his characters, can't remember which play) so what about something like Juliet, Miranda, Rosalind, Helena, Nerissa or Cordelia?

MarvinKMooney · 24/01/2015 08:12

Nadia - Yes, Imogen was King Cymbeline's daughter. Smile

I have a 3 year old Imogen Lily and 9m old mason Lucas. If he was a girl he would of been Isabella Ivy :) x

Imogen and Audrey
Imgogen and Matilda (immy and Tilly)
Sasha? Ruby? Margot? Sophie?

I would avoid two 'I' names. My sister & I both have 'K' names (we are not the Kardashians!) & people forever got them mixed up as children & it irked.

I think Imogen & Juliet are lovely together - 2 beautiful Shakespearean names. If I had another DD (not likely) she would be Juliet.
