I think we are close to narrowing it down to these two names.

How many Betsy's and Alberts do you know and how old are they?

Thanks

Really like both names. If it were me, I would probably have Betsy as short for Elizabeth, but that’s personal preference.

Both nice, but both of the moment - Albert for a while, Betsy coming up.

If you want them to stand the test of time, I would give Betsy Elizabeth as a full name, as that is more classic.

I know one Albert!
Known at bert! He is 6

Albert is lovely. My dog is called Betsy I love Elizabeth.

I don't know any - but they are both very trendy imo. Betsy is a retro "cute" nickname (see Elsie, Nancy etc) so will likely date. And Albert is part of the vintage "old -man name" trend too (see Stanley, Sidney etc). I'm not sure either will "stand the test of time", in the sense that people will be able to guess what decade or two they were born in. Sorry, OP. But Elizabeth (nn Betsy) and Robert or Alexander (depending on whether you want the Bertie or Al nn's) are much more timeless imo.

What beautiful names!

Definitely very of the time, OP. Nothing wrong with strangers being able to guess when they were born but you said you'd rather timeless over trendy and these are trendy. They do fit with your other DCs names though.

I know a Betsy in her 70s, but I think her name is Elizabeth. I know one Albert, aged about 16.
