Have a 4 yo daughter and 9 month twin boys, so glad they were boys except was desperate to use my number two girls name , Edith. Love it sooo much but not enough to have another bubba! X

why not furcoat It's been a name for centuries. If a terrorist organisation suddenly started using the acronym ANNA we wouldn't stop calling our children Anna. Just because it's less common doesn't make it any less valid as a name. It has nothing to do with ISIS.

furcoatbigknickers · 19/12/2014 22:58

I guess its personal choice.

manicinsomniac · 19/12/2014 23:04

Of course it is. I have no strong feelings about it at all, I just put it in a very long list of suggestions and wouldn't have given it another thought if it hadn't been picked out. I'm not pushing any of the names. Just giving ideas.

Love Ines.

What about
Solange

Rosalie

Dulcie

Allegra

Thanks all, we live in Germany and prob won't be back in the UK, but perhaps back to NZ eventually.
I am leaning towards Cleo, but in NZ it's a magazine, and I've also heard people associate it with cats and or cars. Who cares, right?

How do you pronounce Rosalie?

Rosa-lee or Roz-a-lee are my attempts Grin

Only1scoop · 21/12/2014 09:07

Cosima

Trinity

SurfsUp1 · 21/12/2014 10:14

Cleo is a magazine in Australia too, but I know a Cleo here and I don't think it's a problem for her.

If your DD has lots of boyfriends she might bring new meaning to Cleo Bachelor of the Year, which is a fairly big thing here! Grin

I LOVE Cleo. Short, cool, works internationally, well known but uncommon.

Elizabethnaylor1980 · 21/12/2014 17:38

Amongst others we have :Violet, Hera, Isolde, Elora and Poppy on our short list. They are more unusual altho Violet is becoming popular.

MishMooshAndMogwai · 21/12/2014 23:23

I love cleo, neve and Helena (pron heleyna)

Might have to add them to my list!

I have an Orla which at the time was pretty unheard of but seems to be growing in popularity in some areas. Hoping it won't do a lexi/ruby/Isla and explode over night with millions of them!

LeoandBoosmum · 21/12/2014 23:28

Also, I like Genevieve, and Sylvie (y, not i)
