I went to school with a Xenia- I managed her name fine but a lot of ppl called her xena which wound her up. She was mexican FYI.

Maybe you could have a nice retirement on her island

(though wasn't it only a small, non-ostentatious one?)

I think other posters are making reference to an infamous MNer of that name, OP, but it was before my time, so don't know about it really!

I think it's a nice name.

I liked the sound of Xenia's island Grin.

Not sure I could use it on a child. It is a cool name though. What are your other names?

Arven · 05/12/2014 18:22

you 'd have to go back to work within 72 hours if you called your baby xenia.

but. I do like it.

rOALD Dahl's Matilda's mother was also Xenia.

There might be pronunciation issues in the UK (assuming you're going for the Russian pronunciation of Kseniya). Not that that should necessarily put you off but something to be aware of.
