So my fiancé and I are getting married in a few months, planning to start ttc at the end of next year. We have talked names of course and I think we're pretty set on Genevieve for a girl but a few people have turned their noses up. What do you think?

I really like it. I just get confused as to what pronounciation. I know x2 and both pronounce different

Gen- eh- veev - English
Jhon-iv-ve-ay - French

I adore it

Think it's a lovely name and lots of lovely shortenings: Gigi; Genny; Vivi; Evie; Genna?

Go for it!

Personally I wouldn't use it, but nothing wrong with it.
We had our names set before we TTC. When I got pregnant they went out the window and DD has a name we never even considered while TTC.
