Apparently Muhammed is the most popular boys name in Britain. This, according to the article, demonstrates the diversity of modern Britain, - errr, no, surely if vast numbers are choosing the same name it demonstrates a lack of diversity. And the huge numbers of muslims living in Britain today, though granted some are choosing it from being Game of Thrones fans.

At DD's (3) pre-school the only repeated girls' names are Jessica (3), Milly (2), Lily (2) & Ellie-May (2). The most popular boys names are Harry, James & Alfie (2 of each).

When we went to view the village primary school the other week, the most common name on pegs seemed to be Lily/Lilly/Lillie - I lost count half way around.
