Name to give nn Dulcie

I know that Dulcie is a name in its own right, but it sounds quite nicknamey to my mind. There is an established longer name, Dulcibella, but I can't do that to the child.

Any thoughts on a longer name which could give Dulcie as a nn?

There is a character in Don Quixote called Dulcinea-which I think is pretty

Think it's pronounced
Dul-see-nay-a

I know a Dulcie and a Dulcima. Both in their 30's.

Thanks DrinkFeck and deste. Thing is, Darcy Dowsy irritations aside, every baby girl round here's name ends in ie and are a bit grannified. Think it will date quite badly. Didn't occur to me it was a granny name, but apparently it falls firmly in that bracket. Tis a lovely name ruined for me Wink will probably keep it as a middle name though. OP, don’t let me put you off, this is just my experiences, yours may be totally different Smile

Haha funny you should say that, was verging towards DrinkFeck. Wonder if it's on the 'you can call your baby anything, except that' government list? Failing that, it shall be 'Arse, girls'Grin Now for the job of persuading the Oh Grin
