Spelling of baby's name

Iv just had a little girl and love the name Edie but I would like to spell it Eidie would just like people's opinions before I go register her.

I'd go with Edith or Eden and shorten to Edie, but if you really want Edie I don't get why you would spell it Eidie... It doesn't look like it would be pronounced Ee-dee, more like Heidi without the H...
